Rated 5 out of 5 by REPR007 from Great Features I purchased this camelbak a few weeks ago. The molly up front allows for a small IFAK to be securely fastened and or tourniquet. The lower front pocket allow for flashlight, ammo, and miscellaneous smaller gear to be stored securely, including a rifle magazine. The top front pocket allows for additional storage of food or small equipment. I use this camelbak for a smaller version of a “go bag”, in my POV.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Alexander from MULE Camelbak worked for me I bought this in late 2018 in multicam. I had read on some reviews that the shoulder straps were too rigid and uncomfortable. When I first wore the pack without anything inside of it, it seemed to be true, the straps were stiff and would not conform to my shoulders or chest. I had the pleasure of taking it out for a 30KM hike done in 11 hours. The pack was fully loaded and I am pleased to report that it was quite comfortable. When the pack is loaded, the straps conformed to my body and there was no irritation. Posting this in hopes that I will help others that are concerned about the straps. The amount of storage in the pack is definitely not a lot, it is very minimalist. It fell just short of 5 stars as the seams on the corner of the velcro is starting to come undone and I have only worn the pak for about 24 hours.

Rated 5 out of 5 by kaufman1817 from everything I need in a pack for work I purchased this pack for work. being on a bike for work patrolling parks, long rides along the cities vast greenway system I needed a pack that could do it all for me i.e.; carry enough H2O, supplies for repairs, paperwork, and still having enough room for my wallet and keys. I have been out on a greenway for a few hours a long way from my cruiser and I had everything I would need to be self sufficient and was not wore out with the pack on. Plus it is comfortable and not bulky.

Rated 5 out of 5 by betweenthebanks from Durable, well thought out I work as a state game warden in northern New England. I have been through several packs over the years from reputable companies, each of which fell short of the mark. Durability and comfort were my top priority, the pack needed to work for ATV, snowmobile, and boat patrol, as well as search and rescues and miles of foot patrol. I need a pack small enough to not be cumbersome, but large enough to hold a 6x10 ticket book, trauma kit, compass / GPS, flashlight, and snacks. This pack holds everything I need and nothing more, it is as if it were made for my profession. The only advancement I can think of for this pack is some sort of weatherproofing on the material. A light sprinkle won't soak the contents, but steady rain will.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Down south LEO from Great for long days at work. I’m a LEO in a big college football town. Saturday’s during the season can be 15-20 hours outside in the heat. The mule is perfect. I attached a medical kit using the mollie and I have hours of water. The pack is big enough to hold some needed items but small enough to not be a burden. I would recommend. It’s got a very sturdy construction.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Grant from Shed Hunting MUST I have wore this all spring looking for Shed Antlers. I’ve put on over 30 miles with this and it has been a game changer for me. No longer dehydrated. Just the right size and easy to carry but has plenty of room for the necessities.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Ryan112 from Solid hydration pack I wanted a really small backpack for day hikes. Something that I could fit a few odds in ends, my car keys, a light jacket and water. I found that most backpacks were too large, so I came upon this style backpack. At 8L it was the perfect size. Small enough to barley notice it, big enough to pack just a few things. I also didn't want something that looked too "tactical" but was super durable. I didn't even know Camelbak made a military line until I went to their site, it has a lot of nice features not in their everyday line which I really am glad for. It certainly wasn't cheap, but it had what I was looking for, so I bit the bullet. The two things I don't like is despite having a much larger opening, plus the kit to hold it open for better air flow. After 2-3 days there was some residual moisture left, which I wanted gone so I could put it away. You can go wrong with these bladders if you pack it away and they're still damp, lots of mildew issues. So I may have to jury rig a fan to move air through it because if I have to have it out air drying for a week each time I use it, it's gonna get old quick. The second thing is I wish there was a clip on the actual shoulder strap to retain the hose as it hangs. I had to come up with my own setup because the hose with it's beefy bite valve and cover flops around enough it's annoying. For the price I paid, I feel like a little plastic clip (for this price point, metal would be justified) should have been included. Overall nice design, I really like the quick detach hoses and bite valve. The straps had Velcro to to tie up the tail ends of the straps, the waist band (pretty useless)
