Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fantastic bottles, only one thing missing... We've been using Camelbak podium bottles for years, love them. They are great for riding, I really like never having to worry about a bottle being open or closed when I am on the bike. They are great for the kids since they can hang onto them and we have to worry way less about spills. The only thing missing is camelbak offering the rubber portion of the bottle as a separate item. They wear out, can be difficult to clean, and our kids (when they were younger) would bite on them enough to tear the top ring off. I'd be happy to buy them in a pack of five if selling one at a time isn't viable. It just stinks to have to buy new bottles when the only part that isn't still perfectly fine is that rubber bit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from best bottle I've tried in years I bought two of these (classic small-sized) last fall at a sale, used them, loved them, and then lost them (I'm a deadly bottle-loser). I was broken-hearted--and by then, local shops were only carrying the large ones, which do not fit in my small-person fannypack, or on my midget-sized bikes. But the design is great: no leakage, and easy squirting right into the mouth in a quick gulp or two. I'm ordering more on the Net.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product, But This is a great water bottle for biking and especially for the price like omg 5 dollars, what a steal. Overall the features are all good and i haven't run into any leakage problems (unless you apply 90 lbs of pushing force), spilling, etc. The only problem i do have with it is that it is a little big as in its wide. I personally thought it was ok on my bike water bottle cage but it was a bit big for that. I got the Ibera water bottle cage off of Amazon for like 8-9 bucks. For this water bottle cage, this water bottle could have some sizing issues. I would personally recommend a bigger cage for this water bottle but for the Ibera cage i was taking about- ITS BASICALLY OK TO USE, JUST APPLY A EXTRA PUSH THEN YOUR OK. Great product in the end.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simple appearance belies much better function The simple appearance of this bottle belies its excellent hydration function. The lid includes a positive wing finger operated valve that can be used to turn flow off completely. But once flow is turned on, spillage is still inhibited by a silicone leaf valve that reminds me a bit in function of a heart valve. A slight suck on the nozzle or a slight squeeze of the bottle predictably provides a generous and well directed flow of water into the mouth. It is nice not to have to pull or slap a nozzle to open or close for a drink. Predictable flow means water gets in the mouth and down the throat rather than all over. The 20 oz size fit nicely in my fanny pack bottle pouches. Both sizes would be good for cycle bottle cages or daypack pockets. I have been quite critical of some Camelbak products in the past, but have been pleased to see that the company continues to improve and innovate and eliminate bugs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Every once in a while, you find a perfect product and the Podium 21 oz is one of those. I use them for hiking and love the way they work and the fact that they don't leak like all my previous bottles did.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Top Leaks Purchased last summer (2017) and noticed leaking after six months of frequent, but mild use. It contained only water (chilled or ambient) and was used while commuting or indoors.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Varied squeezability Bought 3 of these from Amazon. The red ones are at least 3X harder to squeeze than the black ones. Something went wrong in the molding dept.
