If you want to make sure you’ve got a cold drink ready at the end of your hike, this is your bottle. The vacuum-insulated steel Chute® keeps things frosty for up to 24 hours—even longer if you add ice. The bottle is designed for chugging, with a high-flow spout and a cap that fits neatly into the handle to stay out of your way when you’re drinking. The double-walled design keeps condensation from collecting on the outside of the bottle, and the powder-coated paint job keeps things colorful while giving you a little extra grip.

  • Vacuum insulation keeps beverages cold for 48 hours and hot for 6 hours
  • Angled spout provides an ergonomic drink interface that delivers a high flow of water without sloshing or spilling
  • Spout cap snaps into handle to prevent it from getting in the way when drinking
  • Tether securely attaches the cap to the bottle for easy filling and refilling
  • Half turn cap gives you easy access to your water and the spout cap threads internally so there is no more drinking off those uncomfortable bottle threads
  • Cap assembly is top-rack dishwasher safe (hand wash vessel)
  • Wide-mouth opening is easy to fill with ice and water and a breeze to clean

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great bottle!.......but.... I was very excited when I bought this bottle some weeks ago because it has great features. it's a great size, keeps liquids really cold for a very long time. We when to Disneyland yesterday in a 90 degree weather and this bottle kept the water ice cold even though it felt really hot on the outside. With ice left in the bottle, when to our hotel room, left it on the counter overnight and to my surprise there was still ice in there the next day Talk about pleasant surprise however what I am disappointed in is that it leaks from the top part. If it's in your bag tilted, expect a mess. I am bummed about it because in my opinion it's very pricey. Don't expect that from a $30 bottle.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from One Major Flaw The bottle is great is keeps my drinks cold is durable and just all around great to carry around I have used this as my daily water bottle for the past 6 months and have only found one flaw with it. That flaw would be the seal in the top of the cap I can almost guarantee that all the reviews that complain of the cap leaking can be contributed to a twisted or missing seal in the top of the cap. The seal seems to get twisted and or pop out easily just from removing the cap if you are not paying attention it would be very easy to lose. The seal is not easy to get back in it takes two hands and a tool of some sort I normally reach for a chop stick. I am not sure there is a fix for it possibly a small amount of food grade silicon would keep it in place. Additionally for backpacking or day hikes i take the plastic equivalent of this bottle the extra weight of the vacuum seal bottle is not worth a cold drink to me would much rather save on weight, but to each there own.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Leaky, sweaty lid. This bottle is great at keeping liquids cold. It is not, however, good at keeping them in the bottle. The bottle is sweat-proof, but the lid sweats profusely. Worse, after just a couple months of infrequent use, it leaks every time you take sip, or when carrying attached or in a bag. Prepare for wet spots.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Impressed! Previous I had Camelbaks with the bite valve... and I was not a fan. It constantly leaked. I took a chance on this one... I filled up the bottle with ice before I left work and when I got home I left it on the counter... forgetting all about it. The next am, the ice was still in there. It's 74 degrees in here and there is still ice in the bottle!!! No leaks either! The only thing that I think need improving is how the cap fits into the lid. It is slight difficult.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from trekking AFRICA I've spent the last 16 years traveling throughout West Africa and northeastern Africa. Trekking through the Sahara and Sahel regions I lived in places that averaged weeks of arid 110˚F/43˚C temperatures. Thirst, quench, hydrate, refresh, hourly! I used some of the earlier BPA free plastic and stainless steel bottles but had trouble keeping my water or nutrition drinks cool. I purchased a Camelbak Chute Vacuum Insulated Stainless 20oz. I don't think that a better bottle exist. My drinks stayed chilled for 14-18 hours, even with the bottles surface layer heating up from the hot air temperatures.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Better Than Most Camelbak Chute is a very nice hydration container. Yes, it's big (maybe even bulky for some). This is not an all-day walk around bottle but it definitely keeps your drinks cold. I've had it keep ice water cold and icy over night. I carry in my golf cart and I cold water for 18 holes (unless I drink it all). Again, this is not one of those petite hand-carry fashion bottle. This bottle is for those that want to keep their beverage the right temperature and don't mind the bulk. I use mine daily at my desk, on golf course, and even when I'm on family outings.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from A bit Disappointed The product description made it appear the cap would fit easily and securely in the handle. It was quite the opposite. The cap does not fit well and is extremely hard to keep it in place within the handle. This was quite disappointing. I would not have ordered; if I knew it was going to be so difficult. The good news is that the product keeps the liquid cold! Just be aware you will have to drink around the cap sticking out.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cap Leak After daily use for the last 3+ months cap is leaking at threads. The tether is now loose and the only way to control leak is to open drinking cap and blow into bottle and adjust cap until very small air leak is heard. I'm not sure if the tether is a gasket but very loose now. Still a better bottle than most I've used and keep water very cool.
